Fish and Chip Shop Waste Oil Collection Service

Illegally disposing of waste edible oil could now result in a fine of up to £5000 OR up to 6 months imprisonment!

Anyone disposing of waste edible oil or fat has to ensure that they are doing so in a legal and responsible manner.

This means:

Your waste oil or fat must be transferred to a leak proof container clearly marked - "NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION"

This container must then be collected by an authorised waste management company.

The company you use must supply you with a "Controlled Waste Transfer Note".

This paperwork must be retained by you for 2 years.

Henry Colbeck Limited is a registered waste oil and fat collector. Our designated vehicles only collect waste edible oil and fat. We do not deliver products on these vehicles.

We will supply you with 60 litre or 120 litre containers clearly marked
"Used Cooking Oil/Fat not for human consumption".

After every collection we will issue a Controlled Waste Transfer Note
