National Fish & Chip Day
Launched in 2015, National Fish & Chip Day is held annually to celebrate the Nation's most iconic dish.
The day aims to generate awareness to give Fish & Chips the recognition it deserves and to secure it's position as one of the Nations most favoured dishes.
Held on the first Friday of June each year, National Fish & Chip Day has already proven to be a great success with the event increasing in size year on year.

National Fish & Chip Awards
Known as the 'Oscars' of the Fish & Chip Industry, The National Fish & Chip Awards celebrate the best of this British tradition by rewarding the best talent, quality and choice offered by Fish & Chip Businesses.
The Awards Ceremony organised by Seafish; a non departmental public body set up to support the UK Seafish Industry, are now in its 34th year and are always encouraging small and large Fish & Chip Businesses to enter the awards.
There are a variety of award categories to enter and businesses are appraised on criteria ranging from sustainable sourcing practices, customer service, hygiene and staff training, and most importantly, the quality of fish and chips.
Entries for the 2022 awards will be open from May 3rd 2021.
