Q Partnership proudly presents a custom ‘plate’ trophy to Bell’s Fish & Chips, celebrating their win as Fish and Chip Restaurant of the Year at the National Fish & Chip Awards.
Last year marked a special milestone for The Q Partnership when, for the first time, we proudly sponsored the Fish and Chip Restaurant of the Year category at the National Fish & Chip Awards. The award went to one of Henry Colbeck’s valued customers, Bell’s Fish & Chips in Framwellgate Moor, recognising their outstanding dedication to quality and service.
A Special Trophy for a Well-Deserved Award
While the prestigious Fish and Chip Takeaway of the Year award has traditionally been presented with a trophy, the restaurant category had not received a physical award — something we felt was unfair given the level of excellence it represents.
After discussions in our office, we created a unique ‘plate’ trophy to honour the restaurant winners, symbolising the heart of the category — the food and dining experience itself.
We proposed this idea to the National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF), who run the awards, and were delighted when they agreed to introduce the plate trophy as a lasting tradition.

We were honoured to recently present the very first Fish and Chip Restaurant of the Year plate trophy to Bell’s Fish & Chips in Framwellgate Moor. The presentation was a proud moment for all involved, celebrating Bell’s outstanding achievement and dedication to excellence.
