Rammi – Quality from Innovation
The Icelandic fishing company has been catching and supplying the finest quality Cod and Haddock for the Q Partnership companies (Henry Colbeck, Friars Pride and V A Whitley) for close to twenty years. Just like us, they are committed to persistently innovating to ensure you can offer your customers the quality of fish and chips they have come to love you for. That’s why Rammi took the momentous decision in 2013 to commission a state-of-the-art fishing vessel to replace their previous two freezer trawlers, the Solberg. The vessel is equipped with a state-of-the-art production facility enabling them to process tightly graded skinless boneless Cod and Haddock from catch to frozen in just 2 hours! Prior to the construction of the Solberg, Rammi garnered a much-deserved reputation for premium quality. However, with a reduction of from catch to frozen times down by a whole hour thanks to the Solberg, Rammi have distinguished themselves as pioneers of premium Cod and Haddock.

To celebrate the love we all have for Rammi and their wonderful fish they provide so that you can offer the tastiest fish and chips, we are holding a competition for a chance to win a romantic dinner and getaway for two! Every 5 boxes of Rammi oCean Premium you purchase from 17th January until Valentines Day, 14th February, will give you one entry into the prize draw.
Additionally, we will be hosting a competition via our social media pages (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram). Using the hashtag #loverammi, show us your most romantic fish and chip meals! Whether it be a beautiful candle-lit dinner or a relaxing cosy night in with your significant other, we want to see the love bloom. Each member of the Q Partnership shall be picking two winners each who will receive a luxurious bottle of Champagne (or an alternative prize of chocolates if Champagne doesn’t tickle your fancy) to commemorate the season of romance.
