Sandylands Fish & Chip Shop in Kendal are celebrating another successful year after being awarded with The NFFF (National Federation of Fish Friers) Quality Award. This year’s award incorporates a primary authority certificate and at the time of the award, Sandylands were just the second Fish & Chip shop in the country to receive the accolade.

Just five months later Simon Liness (Owner of Sandylands) was approached by the Chairman of The NFFF and invited to become an assessor for the National Quality Award and later attended a training day along with top industry professionals.

“It’s been a fantastic year for us so far and with the help and advice from the NFFF and the Henry Colbeck team we are hoping to continue to go from strength to strength. The benefits and effects receiving this award has had on our business has been phenomenal, customer confidence has increased and our takings are up over 40%!”.
