Fast Food and Takeaway Trade Show What’s Cooking? 2022
Henry Colbeck hosted their annual trade exhibition, ‘What’s Cooking?’ on the 20th of March 2022 in the amazing city of Edinburgh – the fast food and takeaway trade show was a resounding success! The show, at the Royal Highland Centre, made an exciting return after having to be cancelled due to COVID last year. The trade show featured exclusive promotions and fantastic products which were available to taste and try from many of your favourite suppliers! Additionally, networking opportunities with other fish friers, the media, and other members of the trade were plentiful as the event had exceptional attendance (we are still gathering the numbers) and yielded record orders for Henry Colbeck and its suppliers.
‘What’s Cooking?’ proved to be a priceless opportunity to meet wonderful suppliers such as Rammi Icelandic Fish, Middleton Foods, Pacific West Seafood, Whitby Seafoods, Coca Cola, KFE Frying Ranges and Innovate Foods to name a few. From the supplier’s representatives, everyone not only got to try other items from their ranges, but also found out more information and methods to grow their business. It was the perfect chance after connecting with existing suppliers to meet the other suppliers attending; it was a great chance to find new items to supplement menus.
How did it go?
Throughout ‘What’s Cooking?’, we had a great flow of customers from all over Scotland the north of England and beyond. We saw the fast food and takeaway trade show yield our best ever result in respect to order forms and we went all out to host, entertain and please all the visitors. We had an abundance of delicious food available, complimentary hot drink and even ice cream for the kids.... well ice cream for everyone let's be honest. We had the youngsters entertained and some rather sharp Aston Martins (courtesy of the Q Frying Agents) to drool over, it wasn’t just the food making us salivate.
